Rome Luxury Suites has a permanent display of Diane Epstein’s Photography, including her large-scale fresco images in their hotels, Babuino 181, and Margutta, 54. The Architect, Fabrizio Magnaghi, has placed her photographs, at 6 feet tall, in the luxury suites and in both lobbies, and also selected several of her sepia images for the hallways on each floor. Her subjects include the monuments, statues, fountains, and hidden corners of Rome, many of which are located just a short stroll from each of the hotels, leading to the Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish Steps and Via Margutta, where the filmmaker, Federico Fellini, lived and helped make it renowned as the street of artists.
Hotel Babuino, 181 is part of Rome Luxury Suites, a hotel group owned by Alberto Moncada di Paternò, who transforms historical residences by incorporating contemporary art and design.

Epstein’s images, printed on the finest art paper, are created using a unique technique of layering multiple photographs, often composed of ancient sites and crumbling walls, to create a painterly, fresco-like image.
Sheraton Rome has recently acquired Epstein’s large-scale photography for its pubic space, focusing on her sepia-toned architectural and sculptural images, chosen by Principals, Karen and Michael Stelea, of HDC, Interior Architecture + Design.
